Here are the kids at the river last weekend. Jonathan took the kids with him the other day and captured a pretty good picture of all of them by himself! Anderson is saying "cheese!"

Annie chose waffles for her birthday breakfast and grape juice. We went to Sonic that evening and played at a playground. The birthday season is over for a little while. We made it. :)
This is our second set of bees. We hope to harvest 30 pounds of honey per hive this fall.
Jonathan is placing the queen in this picture. (Our other hive is right behind him.) The kids love this stuff.
There they are. 10,000 bees and their queen. Amazing. Jonathan says that by mid-summer there could be up to 60,000 in each hive. Wow. They are already hard at work. I see them out and about and Jonathan has opened up the hives and there is already big combs and eggs.
Grandma and Grandpa came to watch the kids while Jonathan and I attended the NM Homeschool Convention. This showed up on my camera during that time. Annie just makes me smile.
Anderson with a present from Grandma and Grandpa (even though he has an October birthday!!)
The kids opening their presents from G & G, right after homemade blueberry pie that Grandma made. Thank you!
John and Emma have a small role in a theater ministry here in Santa Fe. They play the kids of Hannah's husband's other wife. They have really enjoyed dressing up and being a part of this.
Us on Easter Sunday. Jonathan surprised us girls Easter morning with corsages to wear to church. They were beautiful. Thanks, Babe.
On John's birthday we had a picnic at the river and then flew a kite. It was a beautiful day.
We ended up going to town that night because our first set of bees arrived so we treated the kids to McDonald's for John's 4th birthday. Here he is eating ice cream.
Then we got the bees from a friend. This is Jonathan hiving the bees that evening.
Granny and Grandpa got the kids a Karaoke Machine for their birthday. It has a camera that hooks up to the tv so the kids can see themselves on the tv. This is Emma and her friend Cordie at the party singing.
Cake time!
Johnny planting his flowers.
Their birthday party has a Painting/Planting Party. I planned on it being an outside party but it snowed that day. Yikes. So, the girls room turned into the painting room with 20+ kids. The boys room was the planting room. We brought in the wheel barrow full of dirt and planted marigolds. Hectic but fun.
Paint everywhere.
Johnny showing off his painted pot.
Annie working hard on the inside of her pot. :)
The kids opening presents.
PopPop and Bo got the kids a telescope for their birthday's. THANKS!
Emma asked for doughnuts for her birthday so we made some. I asked Jonathan to pose for the picture and this is what I got. A little too happy.
The kids got to ice and sprinkle their own doughnuts. It was sugar heaven.
We ate at Olive Garden that night. They sang their Birthday Song to her and she loved it. 5 years old. It is hard to imagine that our sweet Emma was born 5 years ago.
John being crazy.
After the egg hunt we celebrated 6 family birthdays. Grandpa 3/31, Granny 4/6, Uncle Randy 4/8, Emma 4/10, Johnny 4/13, Annie 4/27!! Wow.
Annie chose a peep for her birthday cake. :)

I took almost almost 50 pictures and this was just as good as any of the rest. Wow. How do you get 7 kids from four families between the ages of 18 months and 5 years to face forward and smile??? Any suggestions?
The young guys had their own egg hunt.

Then we stopped by the Trammel Crow building and visited Granny's high-rise office. It made my knees buckle to see the kids next to that window.
The day we got our chicks we tried on hats at the feed store. Cuties!
Holding the chicks.
Loving the chicks.
For the first time our family had an outing to Dunkin Donuts! It was great. Everyone got to pick out their donut and the kids shared chocolate milk and orange juice. YUM!
John's new thing is crossing his eyes. It is hilarious! Sometimes I will just look over at him and this is how he looks.
Just like everyone says--the fourth child gets it the easiest. Donuts at 18 months.

What is she thinking???
While Grandpa was here we had a little birthday dinner/party for him.
